From Athlete to Analyst and Coach to Consultant, I’ve cultivated a set of skills that enables me to assist companies in developing products that team members love to work on and users are excited to use.

I bring a unique combination of software development familiarity with backgrounds in team management, business leadership, product consulting, and performance analysis that enables me to advocate for the needs of the product and its users. I'm a strong connector with a passion for building relationships that facilitate collaboration in new spaces, always seeking to be a catalyst for others' success.

Political Consultant & Strategist
2019 - 2022

  • Scaled user engagement via multichannel outreach campaigns including web, newsletter, in-person events, and text message campaign

  • Developed outreach strategies and accompanying JS/HTML/Google Apps Script micro applications

  • Brokered a mutually beneficial outcome with external campaign groups, defined a group road map, and kept all independent organizations focused on long term goals

  • Responsible for campaign strategy & management, and coordinating team including copywriter, designer, accounting, volunteer coordinator, and advertising.

  • Built process documentation for programmatic execution of common campaign activities allowing end user to prioritize actions based on resources available

  • Managed 5 campaigns all resulting in victories for my candidates

  • Built digital polling tool allowing for statistically valid polling for 1/20th the cost of traditional methods

Technical Co-Founder, Outdoor Playlist

Founded on the principle of encouraging folks to go outdoors more often we provided a curated outdoor clothing box-subscription service focused on changing the technical gear buying experience.

  • Built a User Profile data tool that reduced fulfillment time by ~33%

  • Achieved a 15% increase in User Profile completion through A/B testing

  • Utilized P&L modeling as basis for 67% increase in fees in order to cover operational costs

  • Led collaboration to drive product vision and go-to-market strategy. Defined technical requirements and communicated designs to cross-functional team

  • Drove customer interviews to uncover unknown needs and tweaks to enhance existing products

  • Used growth benchmarks to drive roadmap features, reducing manual dependencies

  • Brokered fundraising relationships with Angels and Seed stage firms

Consultant & Coach, MVA Consulting

Helping athletes and leaders grow into better versions of themselves and assisting companies to build better products and navigate challenges. MVA Consulting is focused on creating better outcomes for individuals and organizations through developing goal realization and process optimization in both sport and the boardroom.

  • Transitioned wholesale brand to DTC at outset of COVID retaining 85% of YoY revenue

  • Built a systematic approach to delivering customized operations strategies based on a structured assessment of key weaknesses and founded on research-based best practices

  • Planned and executed week-long retreats throughout the U.S. resulting in improved communication, deepening of trust, strengthening of the coach/client relationship, and greater understanding of process

  • Established and guided goal setting, use of socratic guidance to overcome hurdles, sample accomplishments: café opened, new job acquired, transition to new role within company, recognition from management, startup founded, transition from wholesaler to DTC.

  • Mentored new founders on balancing granular operation requirements and long-range vision for where to guide their business next

  • Provided an environment where feedback, criticism, and venting can flow freely, allowing the client to show up with their whole self.

  • Careers aided: Doctors, software engineers & developers, graphics designer, civil engineer, VP of Events, computer scientists, teachers, accountants, entrepreneurs.

  • Guided athletes to qualifying for the Ironman World Championship in Kona Hawai'i 35 times.

  • Three Ironman Kona World Championship podiums, two additional top 10s. Four Ironman Overall Amateur victories, five Ironman Age Group titles, eighteen 70.3/Half-Ironman Age Group wins.
